This conference call featured a special guest, Autumn Stringam, who talked about her courageous book, “These Painted Wings.” The first edition printing sold out in just over two months and Autumn has been overwhelmed by the response. A second edition printing is now in the works and will be available in October. Autumn also shares a few of the many reader comments she’s received in response to her book.
The remainder of the call focused on the subject of Apoptosis – which is the body's natural process of cell death and replenishment. David and Tony do a wonderful job of explaining this relatively new area of science and what it means for sufferers of many disorders including mental illness. David explains how EMPowerplus is now being proven in research to fortify and nourish the nerve cells of the body thus helping them become more functional.

There are some new and exciting changes to our EMPowerplus Powder product. Gone are the artificial sweeteners, the caseinates, and the dye. In addition to the standard ingredients, the powder formula now contains natural herbs and extracts and protein from milk sources. These ingredients have a safety profile that extends beyond forty years of use, so there is no issue with safety. The only exception would be those who have allergies to milk or dairy products, in which case the EMPowerplus capsules should be used. Similarly, lactose intolerance could be mitigated by taking a lactase enzyme supplement.
Whey protein has one of the highest protein digestibility-corrected amino acid scores (PDCAAS; a measure of protein bioavailability) and is more rapidly digested than other proteins.1 Adding protein to the formula has the potential to significantly enhance the effectiveness of EMPowerplus for certain people. The new, less-sweet formula is designed to be compatible with more juices and other liquids that might be used to mix with the powder before consuming. We trust that you will find this new powder to be a significant improvement over our old formula.
