“[My husband] was diagnosed with clinical depression and subsequently was put on a regiment of drugs. Prozac was the first drug…and that was the beginning of the long drawn out affair. “I am 47 years old and suffer from Bipolar disorder. I was an honors student and college grad, yet I’ve never been able to hold a job for any length of time, sometimes being unemployed for up to four years at a time. Finally diagnosed as Bipolar in 1999, I have not been a great candidate for antidepressants or lithium due to terrible side effects. My 31 year old daughter has a very rare medical diagnosis is whereby she has a mutation in her paternally inherited 15^th chromosome. This was caused by an environmental situation. My husband worked with noxious chemicals at the time of her conception and in those days there were not the precautions that there are today in the workplace. She is somewhat Autistic and has had psychotic episodes, serious health problems and has lost most of her ability to communicate. EMPowerplus looked like a long shot. I was not looking for a cure, however, I was looking for something that may improve the quality of her life.

I was willing to investigate all of my options. Her psychiatrist, was open to a trial with EMPowerplus and was acquainted with the Calgary psychiatrist that was familiar with the product as noted in some of the documentary material.

“It has now been five years since my hair first started falling out.  I was tired and irritated most of the time.  I had problems with relationships including my family and friends.  I was always tired at work and school, everything seemed like a chore.

“Prior to Truehope our oldest son was prescribed antipsychotic medications for several years due to a genetic chemical imbalance which started in adolescent.  The medication stabilized him but the side effects left him severely disabled.  He lost his short-term memory, all his joints were painfully crippled, and he was sedated 24 hrs. a day and because his metabolism was suppressed he gained 70 lbs.  After a period of time the medication  would loose their effectiveness and the experiment to find another drug and the proper dosage would begin all over again.  In short his life was a living hell and the sickness drug side effects robbed him of his teen years.

“My depression began to lift within two weeks of using EMPowerplus. Now, six months later I am symptom-free, and have been for quite some time. I never believed my life could ever be happy and meaningful again, but it is, thanks to EMPowerplus and Truehope.
