Common Name: dl-Phenylalanine/ Phenylalanine 

Evidence of Efficacy: statement to the effect of dl-Phenylalanine deficiency or imbalance plays a role in the symptoms of mood disorders. Observational and experimental studies have shown an association between dl-Phenylalanine and ADHD1,2,3, bipolar disorder4,5,6,7, and depression7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17.
