Evidence of Efficacy: statement to the effect of Vitamin B12 deficiency or imbalance plays a role in the symptoms of mood disorders. Observational and experimental studies have shown an association between vitamin B12 and anxiety1,2,3 and bipolar disorder4,5,6,7,8,9, depression10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 ,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,2 2,23 ,24 ,25 ,26, 27, 28, 29,3 0,31, 32,3 3,34, obsessive compulsive disorder35, and schizophrenia36,37.
